Original ‘Birches Patent’ adjustable pocket watch key. Dating form around 1890.

Solid nickel case with steel jaws. The sprung loaded jaws are opened by pressing the button on the opposite end of the key, allowing them to grip any size winding arbour. The key is fitted with a swivelling bale ring allowing it to be attached to the end of a watch chain. Key signed, "Birches Patent - Licenced by Birch". Length : 44mm. Nice condition. Good working order.
