Sterling silver double case. Bezel unscrews, then the inner case (snap back & bezel), containing movement, dial, no.2 glass and winding crown can be swung out on a hinge. Signed with West End logo. Marked with Swiss Sterling hallmarks. Wire lugs. Outer case diameter : 34mm. Case condition : 85%.

White porcelain dial with subsidiary seconds. Luminous numerals and hands. Luminous paint faded with age. Signed in black & red, "West End Watch Co.", "Keepsake". Dial condition : 95%.

Gilt, 15 jewel manual wind movement. Signed with West End logo. Movement condition : 90%. Time keeping : good.


The West End Watch Company is a Swiss watch manufacturer which was formed in
Saint-Imier in 1886 by Amstutz and Droz. The company developed and produced the first waterproof pocket watch which they named, "L'Impermeable".
