Scarce chronometer version of an Eterna-Matic wrist watch, dating from around 1953. Stainless steel case with high quality calibre 1243 UC (automatic/date) movement.

Stainless steel case with screw-on back. Attractive flared lugs. Inside case back signed, "Eterna Watch Co.". Original Eterna winding crown. Case diameter (not including crown) : 35.5mm. Case condition : 90%.

Beautifully refinished silver coloured dial with applied applied steel batons and Eterna-Matic logo. Date window at 3 o'clock position. Dial signed, "Eterna-Matic - Chronometre". Dial condition : 100%.

High quality, silvered, 13 ligne, 21 jewel, rotor automatic chronometer movement with date. Movement signed, "Eterna-Matic" (calibre 1243 UC). Screwed, monometallic balance wheel. Fitted with an Eterna type 'U' shock-absorber. Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
