Steel CWC RAF Air Crew Issue Wrist Watch. 1974

Genuine Royal Air Force air crew issue, stainless steel CWC wrist watch. Dated 1974.
Robust,stainless steel, monobloc, tonneau shaped case. Fixed strap bars. British Military markings on back of case: Ministry of Defence arrow & reference, "6bb/5238290 - 468/74". Case width (not including crown) : 36mm. Case condition : 90%.
Matt black dial with white numerals. Luminous hour markers and hands. Dial signed "CWC". Marked with Ministry of Defence arrow and circled "T" (indicating use of Tritium luminous paint). Dial condition : 100% (luminous paint no longer active).
Good quality, nickel plated, 11.5 ligne, 17 jewel movement with
hacking sweep seconds. Signed "CWC." (ETA calibre 2750). ‘Resochoc’ type shock
absorber. Plates decorated
with a machine engraved design. Movement condition (appearance):
95%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : Good. Inventory No. 503 -----------------------------------------------------------
Fitted with NATO type Nylon strap.
