W.W.II. period Royal Air Force navigator/observer's issue pocket watch made by the high quality Swiss watch manufacturer Jaeger LeCoultre. Very near mint condition!
Chrome plated case with snap-on back and bezel. British military markings on back of case : War Department arrow, "6E/50" and "A25718". Inside back still has original supplier's ink hand stamp, "G&S Co. Ltd" (Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Ltd). Bezel still fitted with original acrylic UB crystal (slightly discoloured with age). Case diameter (not including crown) : 52mm. Case condition : 95%.
High quality, gilt, 17 ligne, 15 jewel movement. Signed, "Jaeger LeCoultre" (calibre 467/2). Movement condition : 100%. Time keeping : good.
White coloured dial with subsidiary seconds. Black numerals and blued steel hands. Dial condition : 95%.
It would be difficult to find a cleaner example of this model!
