Original British Civil Service (India) issue wrist watch manufactured by Tissot. Dating from the 1940s.

Stainless steel, mid sized, tropical type case with screw-on back. Back of case signed, "Tissot - Non Magnetic - Waterproof - Shock Absorber". Inside back stamped with British Government markings, "C.S.(I)" - (Civil Service - India). Case width (not including crown) : 30.5mm. Case condition : 85%.

Matt silver coloured dial with subsidiary seconds. Alternating luminous numerals & hour markers, and luminous hands (luminous paint no longer active). Dial signed, "Tissot - Non Magnetic". Dial condition : 80%.

Good quality, nickel plated, 12 ligne, 15 jewel movement. Signed, "Tissot" (calibre. 27-3). Shock absorber. Movement condition (appearance) : 90%. recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
