Early stopwatch manufactured by the Swiss company, Favre Leuba & Co. Dating from around 1890.

Solid nickel case with a snap-on bezel, inner dust cover and hinged back. The dust cover has a glazed display window allowing the movement to be viewed without having to remove removing. Bezel fitted with original bevelled glass. The stopwatch is started, stopped and reset by depressing the winding crown. Case diameter (not including pendant) : 40mm. Case condition : 90%.

White enamel dial with an outer 60 second chapter (divided into 5ths of a second - number '60' in red) and a separate 30 minute register (number '30' in red). Blued steel hands. Dial signed, "Favre Leuba & Co.". Dial condition : 100%.

Nickel plated, stop watch movement with a cylinder escapement. Decorated with a damaskeed design. Movement condition : 100%. Good working order.

Comes with original box with hinged lid. The lid is marked, " Favre-Leuba & Co. - Chronograph Recorder - Swiss Made". The inside of the lid has silk lining which is printed with a very attractive design incorporating both Favre Leuba's trade mark and their various prize medals.
