9k Arcadia Wrist Watch Early Dust Proof Case. 1929

9k gold, two piece case with screw-down bezel. Once bezel is removed, movement can be
swung out on a hinge. Snap on metal dust cover attached to movement holder. Wire lugs.
Case signed inside, "F.B." (François
Borgel
- a Swiss company specialising in early dust/moisture-proof cases - at
the time this watch was manufactured, Borgel was owned by
Taubert & Fils). 9ct British import hallmark, corresponding to the year 1929. Case
diameter (not including crown) : 31mm. Case condition : 85%.
Swiss made, nickel plated, 15 jewel movement
with engine turned decoration. Signed, "Arcadia". Recently serviced. Movement
condition : 95%. Time keeping : good.
Double sunk, enamel dial with subsidiary
seconds. Black numerals and a red 12. Blue steel hands. Dial condition : 100%.
New/old stock brown crocodile strap (unworn).
