Genuine W.W.I. period, sterling silver, Omega military type wrist watch. Dating from 1918. Watches such as these were designed with military use in mind and were available to troops as private purchase items.

Solid sterling silver cushion shaped case with snap-on back & bezel. Fixed silver wire lugs. Case back signed, "Omega", "SA" and stamped with an English sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 1918. Fitted with an acrylic UB crystal. Case width (not including crown) : 32mm. Case condition : 90%.

Original black enamel military style dial with subsidiary seconds. Luminous hands and hour markers. Dial signed, "Omega". Dial condition : 95% (very faint hairline).

Good quality, gilt, 12 ligne, 15 jewel movement. Signed, "Omega". Bimetallic compensation balance wheel. Breguet overcoil hairspring. Movement condition (appearance) : 98%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
