Scarce, nickel plated pocket watch made in USA by Westclox to commemorate the 1929 round the world flight of the German airship, LZ127 "Graf Zeppelin".

Nickel plated metal case with a snap-on back and bezel. The back is decorated with a scene depicting the Graf Zeppelin flying over the ocean with three early sailing ships below and with the caption, "Trail Blazers - Around The World - Magellan 1519-1522-Time-About 3 Yrs - Graf Zeppelin -1929-Time-21 Days.". The bezel is marked with the names of the following places, "Friedrichshafen", "Tokio", "Los Angeles", and "Lakehurst" (the locations where the airship stopped). Still fitted with original acrylic watch glass (slight discolouration due to age). Case diameter (not including pendant or bow) : 51mm. Case condition : 85%.

Original paper dial bearing the image of the Graf Zeppelin with the word "Zep" across it's fuselage and a map of the globe in the background. Dial condition : 90%

Original, nickel plated pin pallet movement. Wound by turning the crown on the top of the watch and hands set by pressing and turning this same crown. Good condition. Working order. Movement condition (appearance) : 85%.
