Nice quality, sterling silver, "Fortis Watch Co." pocket watch made for the U.K. market. Dating from 1924. Very good condition.

Original sterling silver case with a snap-on bezel, a hinged back and inner dust cover. Case signed, "Dennison Watch Case Co," and is stamped with a full English sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 1924. Still fitted with original beveled glass crystal (perfect condition). Case diameter (not including pendant) : 49mm. Case condition : 95%.

White enamel, double sunk dial with subsidiary seconds. Black numerals. Dial signed, "Fortis". Blued steel hands. Dial condition : 100%.

Nice quality, nickel plated, Swiss made, 17 jewel movement. Signed, "Fortis Watch Co.". Three adjustments. Bimetallic balance wheel. Movement condition (appearance) : 99%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
