Nice quality, sterling silver enclosed pocket/purse watch covered with crocodile skin. Dating from 1928.

Sterling silver case with hinged back enclosed within a two-piece, sliding outer cover which is covered with genuine crocodile skin. The outer case slides apart which allows the central watch case to be viewed. Opening the covers a little further releases the watch which then automatically pops-up, enabling the watch to be used as either a desk or bedside clock. Inside case stamped with a British (Edinburgh) sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 1928. Length of case (closed) : 58mm. Length of case (open) : 88mm. Case condition : 90%.

Matt silver coloured military dial with bold luminous hands and numerals (luminous paint no longer active). Dial condition: 95%.

Good quality, nickel plated, 10.5 ligne, 15 jewel movement. Swiss made - manufactured by Felsa, calibre 184. Movement decorated with an attractive, "fish scale" engine turned design. Bimetallic compensation balance wheel. Movement condition (appearance) : 100%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
