Quality, sterling silver, Swiss made chronograph pocket watch dating from 1924.

Sterling silver case with hinged bezel, back and inner dust cover. Back beautifully hand engraved with the cypher containing the initials "A.J.R." and the date 1929. Depressing the winding crown starts, stops and resets chronograph function. Inside back stamped with English import hallmark corresponding to the year 1924 and with the initials, "G.S." (George Stockwell & Co., Finsbury Street, London - watch importers). Case diameter (not including pendant) : 50.5mm. Case condition : 95%.

White enamel dial with dual registers: subsidiary second dial and 30 minute chronograph register. Black Arabic numerals and red outer chronograph second chapter, divided into 5ths of a second. Blue steel hands. Dial condition : 99% (very faint, small hairline). Still fitted with original bevelled glass crystal.

Nice quality, unsigned, Swiss made, 17 jewel chronograph movement. Gilt plates and steel chrono. works. Movement condition (appearance) : 99%. Good working order. Time keeping : good.
