Genuine RAF Issue HEUER "RALLY-MASTER" Clock & Stopwatch

Genuine Royal Air Force issue Heuer clock & stopwatch dating from the 1970s. This combination was referred to by Heuer as the "Rally-Master". These items were originally designed to be fitted on the dashboards of rally cars, but were also adopted by the RAF to fit in aircraft cockpits.
The Rally-Master combination consists of a Heuer 8-day "Master-Time" clock, a Heuer "Monte-Carlo" stopwatch and a special back-plate to which the instruments are attached. Both the clock and stopwatch measure 55mm in diameter and the overall width of the back-plate is 113mm.
The Master-Time clock has a matt black metal body and winding crown and a black dial with luminous hands and numerals. The dial is signed "Heuer - Master Time - 8-Days" and bears the circled "T" mark which is used on some military issue timepieces to indicate the use of tritium luminous paint. The side of the clock is engraved with the British Ministry of Defence assignation : a broad arrow and the code "6A/11146 - H.T.L.I./3".
The "Monte-Carlo" stopwatch has a chrome body, winding crown and buttons, and has a black rotating time elapse bezel. The black dial has luminous numerals (divided into 60 seconds), a luminous minute and sweep second hand and a window which shows the elapsed hours. The dial is signed "Heuer - Monte Carlo". The side of the body is engraved with the British M.O.D. assignation : a broad arrow and the code "6B/3822".
The matt black back-plate is engraved with the assignation : a broad arrow and the code "6A/8690 - 3111".
The combination comes with an original M.O.D. box which is stamped with the date "4 AUG 1974".
