Quality 8-Day Smiths/ Jaeger LeCoultre Bezel Wind Car Clock. 1930s

High quality, 8-day, bezel wind motor car dashboard clock manufactured by the Swiss company Jaeger LeCoultre and supplied by Smiths, London. Dating from the 1930s.
Metal case with an attractive and unusual
octagonal silver plated rotating bezel. Original bevelled glass crystal with red
time time elapse marker arrow (can be set against the position of either hand to
record elapsed time). The clock is wound by turning the bezel, the hands are
adjusted by sliding the lever mounted on the bottom side of the case, then
turning the bezel. Black dial with white numerals. Dial signed, "8-Days -
M1 - Smiths, Cricklewood, London". High quality Swiss made, 8-day movement
positively identified as being manufactured by, "Jaeger LeCoultre" (calibre
208). Bezel width : 67mm. Nice overall condition. Working order.
