Nice quality, 9ct gold rectangular wrist watch with attractive dial featuring asymmetric, exaggerated numerals. Manufactured by the Swiss company, Dimier Frères & Co., and dating from 1923.

Very well finished, good quality, solid 9ct gold hinged case with flush fitting joints and a curved, cambered fascia. Inside stamped with the case maker's initial, "J.W." and with the full British 9ct gold import hallmark corresponding to the year 1923. Fitted with the original domed glass crystal in very good condition. Case length (not including lugs) : 30mm. Case width (not including crown) : 23mm. Case condition : 95%.

Original matt silver coloured dial with subsidiary seconds and attractive, asymmetric, exaggerated numerals. Blued steel hands. Dial condition : 85% (slight ageing).

Good quality, gilt, 15 jewel movement. Signed with the maker's initials, "D.F.C." (Dimier Frères & Co). Bimetallic balance wheel. Movement condition (appearance) : 98%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.

Fitted with a good quality, black, genuine lizard strap.
