Stainless steel wrist watch made by the quality Swiss manufacturer "Eberhard & Co.", who during the 1930's was supplier to the Italian Navy. Dating from around 1950.
Stainless steel mid size case with screw-on back and inner dust cover. Case signed, "Eberhard & Co.". Case width (not including crown) : 32mm. Case condition : 90%.
Very attractive original silver coloured dial. Alternating luminous numerals and hour markers. Luminous hands (luminous paint no longer active). Red sweep seconds hand. Dial signed, "Eberhard & Co. - Pare Choc" (Pare Choc = Shock Resistant). Dial condition : 85% (slight tarnishing).
High quality, nickel plated, 17 jewel, sweep seconds movement. Shock absorber. Capped escape wheel jewels. Movement Signed, "Eberhard & Co. - Temperatures Adjusted". Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
