Stainless steel Seiko "5 Sports - Speed-Timer" bullhead style automatic chronograph wrist watch with day-date. Dating from around 1977.
Heavy stainless steel screw back case. Bronze tachymeter bezel. Twin chronograph pushers. Left button starts and stops the chronograph. Right button resets. Back of case signed, "Seiko". Fitted with original bevelled glass crystal in (nice condition - some light scratching). Case width : 43.5mm. Case condition : 90%.
Bronze dial with gold coloured minute and hour chronograph registers at 9 and 3 o'clock positions. Day and date windows at 6 o'clock position. Day register can be set to either English or Japanese languages. Dial signed, "Seiko - 5 Sports - Speed-Timer". Black and white hands. Red chronograph hand. White hour batons. Dial condition : 98%
Nickel plated, 21 jewel, fast beat, rotor automatic chronograph movement. Signed, "Seiko" (calibre 6138B). Quick change day and date. Shock absorber. Movement condition (appearance) : 90% (slight discolouration to rotor). Good working order. Time keeping : good.
Fitted with original Seiko "Speed-Timer" bracelet.
