Original W.W.II. British army issue "Leonidas" wrist watch. Dating from around 1940.
Chrome plated mid size case with stainless steel screw-on back. Case back marked with British Military markings : War Department arrow, "A.T.P" (Army Trade Pattern) & serial numbers "295148" & "109898". Case diameter (not including crown) : 31mm. Case condition : 90%.
Silver coloured dial with subsidiary seconds. Black numerals. Luminous hands and hour markers (luminous paint faded with age). Dial signed, "Leonidas". Dial condition : 90% (slight tarnishing).
Good quality, nickel plated, 15 jewel movement (unsigned). Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Time keeping : good.
Fitted with a nylon Nato military issue G10 strap.
