Rare, solid 9ct gold, novelty watch fob with built-in mechanical shaker. Dating from around 1890.
Small solid 9ct gold (unmarked but positively tested) watch fob containing three miniature bone dice. Automatically shakes the dice by a spinning disc inside the fob which is operated by a small sprung lever mounted on the edge of the case. Back of fob is decorated with a beautiful hand engraved design. Still fitted with original bevelled glass crystal and bale ring which allows it to be suspended from a watch chain. Diameter (not including bale ring) : 18mm. Nice condition. Good working order.
