Sterling Silver Omega Half Hunter Pocket Watch. c.1901

Sterling silver Omega "half hunter" pocket watch with sprung loaded cover. Dating from around 1901.

Sterling silver 1/2 hunter case with sprung loaded cover, snap on bezel and hinged back and inner dust cover. Cover and back decorated with an engine turned design. Cover springs open by depressing the winding crown. Cover has a small glazed window in it's centre through which the dial and hands can be viewed without having to open the cover. Inside case is signed "Omega" and is also stamped with a Swiss "0.935" silver hallmark (purer than sterling). Case diameter (not including pendant) : 50.5mm. Case condition : 85%.

White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds. Black Roman numerals. Signed, "Omega". Blue steel hands. Dial condition : 100%

Gilt, 7 jewel lever movement. Signed, "Omega". Bimetallic compensation balance wheel. Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Time keeping : good.
