Solid 18ct gold wrist watch made by the quality Swiss manufacturer, "International Watch Co." (IWC). Dating from around 1945 (dated by serial number).

Solid 18ct gold case with snap-on back and bezel. Inside back signed, "IWC" and stamped with a Swiss 18ct hallmark. Case width (not including crown) : 33mm. Case condition : 90%.

Nicely refinished satin silver dial with subsidiary seconds. Raised gilt numerals and hour markers. Dial signed, "International Watch Co. - Shaffhausen". Dial condition : 98% (some very light surface spotting).

Beautiful quality, nickel plated, 17 jewel movement. Signed, "International Watch Co." (calibre 88). Gold chaton set jewels. Shock absorber. Decorated with Geneva stripes. Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
