Sterling silver Omega wrist watch made for the British Market. Dating from 1925.
Solid sterling silver case with snap-on bezel and hinged back. Case signed, "Dennison Watch Case Company Ltd." and stamped with a full British sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 1925. Omegas of this period which were specially made for for the U.K. market were fitted with cases made by Dennison (see also items 67 & 206). Fitted with an acrylic U.B. crystal. Case width (not including crown) : 32.5mm. Case condition : 85%
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals. Blue steel hands. Signed, "Omega". Dial condition : 98% (tiny nick on edge of dial, not visible, hidden under bezel).
Good quality, gilt, 15 jewel movement. Signed, "Omega". Bimetallic compensation balance wheel. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
Fitted with original period strap in good condition.
