Good quality, rectangular, stainless steel, waterproof "sports case" wrist watch made by Eterna. Dating from around 1940.
Two-piece, stainless steel,
bevelled rectangular
case - locked together with four screws (one in each corner of the back).
Case signed, "Eterna Watch Co.". Fitted
with acrylic UB crystal. Case width (not including crown) : 22mm. Case
length (including lugs) : 38.5mm. Case condition : 85%.
Nice
quality, nickel plated, 15 jewel, tonneau shaped movement. Chaton set jewels.
Signed, “Eterna” (Calibre 740). Early shock absorber. Movement condition
(appearance): 90%. Time keeping : good.
Beautifully refinished black dial with subsidiary seconds. Luminous hands and gilt numerals (luminous paint faded with age). Signed, "Eterna". Dial condition : 100%.
