Quality, sterling silver, chronograph pocket watch made by the Swiss complicated watch specialist, "Le Phare" and retailed by the English jewellers "Webster". Dating from 1928 and in near mint condition.
Sterling silver case with hinged bezel, back and inner dust cover. Back decorated with engine turned decoration (very sharp, no wear). Button in the centre of winding crown starts, stops and resets chronograph. Inside back stamped with English import hallmark corresponding to the year 1928. Dust cover professionally engraved with a presentation inscription dated 1930. Case diameter (not including pendant) : 50.5mm. Case condition : 95%.
White enamel dial with dual registers: subsidiary second dial and chronograph 30 minute register. Black Roman numerals and outer chronograph second chapter, divided into 5ths of a second. Signed, "Webster". Blue steel hands. Dial condition : 100%. Still fitted with original beveled glass crystal (perfect condition).
Nice quality, Swiss made, 17 jewel chronograph movement (unsigned but positively identified as being manufactured by Le Phare). Gilt plates and steel chrono. works. Movement condition : 100%. Good working order. Time keeping : good.
