



Nice quality, solid silver, Swiss made hunter type pocket watch with it's lid decorated with a hunting scene. Signed "Minimax" and dating from around 1910.
Solid silver "hunter" case with sprung loaded hinged lid and hinged back and inner dust cover. Lid decorated (in relief) with a very beautiful and finely detailed scene depicting two hunters shooting at a stag within a forest. Lid opened by pressing button set into end of winding crown. Back decorated with original textured finish. Pendant and bow both formed in an attractive art nouveau design. Case stamped, "H.F." (Huguenin Freres - high quality Swiss case maker's) and with the Swiss "0.800" grade silver hallmarks. Dust cover decorated with the images of five gold coloured prize medals and the inscription, "Lille 1902 - Ancre - Non Magnetique - 15 Rubis" which translates to "Lille 1902 - Lever - Non Magnetic - 15 Jewels". Lever hand setting mechanism (lever located under bezel at 4 o'clock position). Case diameter (not including pendant) : 49mm. Case condition : 90%.
White enamel, double sunk dial with subsidiary seconds. Black Breguet numerals. Blue steel hands. Dial signed, "Minimax". Dial condition : 90% (tiny nick on edge of dial at 3 o'clock position, mostly hidden under bezel).
Good quality, 15 jewel, unsigned Swiss lever movement. Geneva stripe engine turned decoration. Movement condition (appearance) : 90%. Time keeping : good.
