Unusual powder compact with built-in watch in very good condition. Most likely dating from the 1930's.
Rectangular nickel plated case with bevelled ends, covered in dark brown leather. The top section contains a built-in watch, the lower, a powder compartment (containing original mesh insert) with a sprung loaded lid which is fitted with a mirror. The lid is opened by pressing a button mounted on the compact's side. Length of case : 93.5mm. Case condition : 90% (powder compartment does not appear to have been used).
Gilt cylinder escapement movement. Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Time keeping : Runs slow.
Silver coloured dial with subsidiary seconds. Black numerals. Blue steel hands. Dial condition : 95%.
