Rare stainless steel and 14ct gold Omega Seamaster "bumper" automatic chronometer. This model is one of a small batch that were made with the sought after "RG" micrometer regulator. Dating from around 1952.
Stainless steel case with
solid 14ct gold bezel and capped lugs. Stainless screw-on back. Omega winding crown. Signed,
"Omega" inside back. Case width (not including crown) : 34mm. Case condition :
85%.
Nicely restored, matt silver coloured dial. Gilt applied batons and Omega symbol. Dial marked, "Automatic Chronometer,
Officially Certified - Seamaster". Gilt hands. Dial condition :100%.
High quality, gilt, 17 jewel bumper automatic, chronometer movement. Adjusted to 5 positions and
temperature. Signed "Omega Watch Co". Calibre 352. Incabloc shock absorber.
"RG" type micrometer regulator. Movement condition (appearance) : 85%
(some wear to plating). Time keeping : good.
