W.W.II "Jaeger LeCoultre" British Military Wrist Watch. c.1944 (Movement & Case Back)

Original W.W.II. British military issue wrist watch manufactured by the quality Swiss company "Jaeger LeCoultre". Dating from around 1944.

Chrome plated case with stainless steel screw-on back. Full military markings inside and outside of back : British War Department arrow, "W.W.W" (Wrist Watch Waterproof), "281030" and "F10369". Back also lightly etched with the initials, "MDM". Inside back signed, "LeCoultre Co.". Case width (not including crown) : 35mm. Case condition : 70% (some wear to plating).

Black dial with subsidiary seconds. White numerals. Signed "Jaeger LeCoultre", also marked with British War Department arrow. Luminous hour markers and hands (luminous paint faded with age). Dial condition : 75%.

High quality, gilt, 17 jewel movement decorated with Geneva stripes. Signed "Jaeger LeCoultre" (calibre 479). Movement condition (appearance) : 80%. Recently serviced. Time keeping : good.
