Solid 9ct gold Omega Seamaster DeVille (auto/date) wrist watch dating from 1968.
Solid 9ct gold case with snap-on bezel. Movement is accessed by separating winding crown (attached by a two part stem) then removing bezel and crystal. The movement is released by sliding locking ring anti-clockwise. Inside case signed, "Omega" and stamped with a full English 9ct gold hallmark corresponding to the year 1968. The back of the case bears the Seamaster merhorse logo and is professionally engraved with the inscription, "E. R. A. Fidler - In recognition of 30 years service with TEXACO - 1938-1968". Original Omega crown. Case diameter (not including crown) : 34mm. Case condition : 85%.
Silver coloured, satin finished dial with applied gilt batons and gilt hands. Signed, "Omega Automatic - Seamaster DeVille". Date window at 3 o'clock position. Fitted with Omega crystal. Dial condition : 100%.
High grade, copper plated rotor automatic movement. 24 jewels. Signed, "Omega" (Calibre 565). Quick change date. Shock absorber. Micrometer regulator. Movement condition (appearance) : 95%. Time keeping : good.
Fitted with genuine crocodile strap (used but still in good condition).
