Description of Items

As well as photographs showing the watch, case and movement (where possible), each item's listing is broken down into separate sections which describe the case, the dial and the movement's composition, specification and condition. The condition is measured in percentage form (100% being best possible condition). Unless otherwise stated, all watches listed are in good working order. When the time keeping of a watch is described as "good", an accuracy of at least approx. 1.5 minutes per day can be expected (unless otherwise stated). Depending on age they are guaranteed to keep time within 3 minute per day (see warranties and returns policy below). More often than not the water resistant and shock absorbent qualities (where applicable) of pre-owned and 'new/old stock' watches on this web site are likely to be adequate, but cannot be guaranteed.

Ordering Items

As most of the items listed on this web site are individual "one off" pieces, before purchasing it is necessary to contact us to check current availability. Items will be sold on a first come, first served basis. To order or enquire, please click on the button below :

Payment

Payment can be accepted by by Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Maestro, Direct Debit or American Express in GBP via PAYPAL's secure online payment service or alternatively by personal cheque, cashiers cheque or postal order, (U.S. dollar checks and money orders also accepted). Items purchased by cheque or money order will be dispatched on clearance. On the definite placement of an order, items will be reserved and put "on hold". They will be held for a reasonable length of time while awaiting payment. If payment is not received within this time period, the items will be made available for sale once again.

Warranty & Returns Policy

Where indicated, we offer a 30 day warranty on our timepieces.

Should the timepiece develop a fault which is covered by the warranty, the item will be repaired. In the unlikely event that a repair is not possible, the customer will be offered a choice of either a credit or refund. The customer is responsible for the safe return of the item for repair.

Unless otherwise stated, our timepieces which were manufactured after 1910 are guaranteed to keep time within 3 minutes per day. Time keeping cannot be guaranteed on those manufactured before this date.

The warranty does not cover water resistance, misuse, abuse, or accidental damage (including broken or bent balance staffs, case damage, or penetration by water or any other substance). Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage is determined at our sole discretion. Perishable parts such as glasses, winding stems, crowns/buttons, mainsprings, straps/bracelets/chains and strap/bracelet bars are not covered by the warranty.

Shipping

All items are sent insured.

Items sent within the U.K. : Dispatched using Royal Mail.

Items sent outside the U.K. : Dispatched using either registered or recorded airmail. It is recommended that items with a value higher than Royal Mail's insurance limit are sent using Federal Express (quote on request).

We operate a mailing list for any customers who wish to be emailed as soon as new acquisitions are added to this web site (the addresses on this list are kept strictly confidential and are not sold or passed on to anyone). To add your email address to this list, please click on the button below. If customers no longer wish to have their email address included, upon request it can be removed from the list at any time.
