Scarce, original, gilt brass lapel badge produced to commemorate the centenary of the Bavarian 26th Infantry Regiment in 1913.

Attractive, pressed gilt brass lapel badge mounted on it's original brooch pin. The badge is surmounted by the Bavarian (Wittelsbach) crown and bears the caption "Mit Gott Für König Und Vaterland - Infanterie Regiment No.26 - 1813-1913" (With God For the King & Fatherland - Infantry Regiment No.26 - 1813-1913). Overall length : 51mm. Good condition (some tarnishing and wear to gilding).
