Very interesting, original photograph of a Victorian English bicycle shop. Believed to date from around the late 1890's, just before the turn of the century.

It shows a shop with it's proprietor and workers standing outside and several different bicycles in the window and in front of the store. The are a number of signs and posters attached to the gate and the wall, advertising Swift, Singer, Sunbeam & Humber cycles as well as Dunlop tyres. Also mounted on the wall are two metal signs informing customers that they are "Repairers to the Cycle Touring Club". The photo is in very good condition and is still attached to it's original mount. Image dimensions : 202mm x 148mm. Overall dimensions (including mount) : 256mm x 201mm.
