Novelty Golden Crown Whiskey Bottle Pocket Knife. 1920's

Unusual, novelty pocket knife made in the form of a "Golden Crown" whiskey bottle. Most likely dating from the 1920's.

This knife has a steel blade and what appears to be solid nickel scales. It is suspended from it's original bale ring and it's blade is marked, "Foreign" (typical of items made for the U.K. market shortly after W.W.I.). The bottle label bears the image of a crown and the inscription, "MD - Golden Crown Liqueur Scotch Whiskey - Melrose Driver Ltd., Leith". Length (folded, not including bale ring) : 57mm. Good condition (slight wear to blade).
