Wooden Pot Made From W.W.I. Battleship "HMS Queen Elizabeth"

Original wooden pot made from the teak of the W.W.I. battleship, H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth.

This small pot bears a brass plaque with the following inscription, "From the Teak of H.M.S. "Queen Elizabeth" - Dardanelles 1915 - Earl Beatty's Flagship Grand Fleet 1917". Good condition.

H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth was commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1915. She took part in the bombardment of the Dardanelles in 1915 and later became the flagship of the British Grand Fleet under the command of Admiral Sir David Beatty.
