Good quality pottery tobacco jar made specially for Dunhill by the Staffordshire company, "Gray's Pottery". Dating from the 1930's.

Beige coloured background decorated with two different hunting scenes which are printed and hand painted. The neck and lid both have attractive copper lustre banding. To keep the jar airtight, the lid has a inner rubber seal and is kept in place by an adjustable clamp which fits into the neck of the jar. The base is signed with both the Gray's and Dunhill marks. Diameter : 138mm. Weight : 1kg (approx.). Nice condition.
