Rare "5th International Games, Berlin" Pin. 1935

 Original pin commemorating the 5th International Games, held in Berlin, 1935.

Very attractive silver plated pin with stylized design in multi-coloured enamel. The design depicts a runner breaking through a finishing tape. Behind is a sports field with the flags of Nazi Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Japan and Italy. There is also the following text, "5 - Landerkampf - Berlin -1935" The reverse has the maker's mark, "Deschler & Sohn - Munchen. 9." Height : 51mm, Width : 43mm. Good overall condition (some tarnishing to plating, which could easily be cleaned).
