Scarce, original paper chart showing the German U-boat blockade areas during W.W.I. and detailed plans of the U-139 Class U-Cruiser submarines. Published by L.F. Koehler, Leipzig during the 1920s.
This very interesting, double-sided chart shows three maps, entitled, "Sperregbiete um Europa und Africa" (Barrier areas around Europe and Africa), "Sperregebiete des Nördlichen Eisemeeres" (Barrier areas of the Northern Ice Sea), and "Amerikanishes Sperregbiete" (American barrier areas). It also contains detailed cross sectional plans of the Type U-139 submarine, entitled, "Unterseeboot der Germainia-Werft (U-Kreuzer U 139 - 141)" (Germainia Submarine shipyard - U-Cruiser U 139 - 141). At the bottom corner is the text, "
