Good quality, sterling silver and enamel patriotic sweetheart brooch made in the form of the crossed flags of Great Britain and Belgium and dating from the beginning of the First World War (1914). This brooch was made to purchased by members of the British public so they could show their support for the people of German occupied Belgium.

This attractive brooch is made in the form of the crossed flags of Britain and Belgium and decorated in multicoloured enamel. The reverse is marked, “Sterling”. Width : 24.5mm. Good condition.

Supplied with a nice quality vintage style presentation box.
