Rare Victorian, English made, silver plated trophy bearing the image of a man riding a penny farthing bicycle. Dating from around the 1880s.

This attractive, un-inscribed trophy is made from electroplated nickel silver and is beautifully hand engraved with an elaborate design incorporating a central cartouche which bears the image of a man on a penny farthing. Stamped with the mark "EPNS" (electro-plated nickel silver). Height : 260mm. Good condition (slight wear to plating).
