Miniature Silver 'Battle of Jutland' Commemorative Medal.1916

Nice quality, solid silver medal made to commemorate the British sailors who lost their lives in the Battle of Jutland during W.W.I. Manufactured by the London medallists, Spink & Son in 1916.
The front of this miniature medal bears the image of the British Union Jack and the Royal Ensign flags, a trident, the date, "31 May 1916" and the caption, "To To the Glorious Memory of Those Who Fell That Day". The reverse is inscribed, "May 31st 1916 - The German Fleet Attacked off the Fleet of Jutland and Driven Back into Port with Heavy Loss - Admiral Sir John Jellicoe, Commander in Chief - Vice Admiral David Beatty Commanding Battle Cruiser Fleet". The reverse also bears the maker's name and date "Spink & Son, 1916". The rim is stamped, "Silver". Diameter : 22.5mm. Nice condition.
