W.W.I. British 'Inns of Court' Military Commemorative Medal

Good quality bronze medal presented to members of the 'Inns of Court' (British law courts) who fought during W.W.I.
The front of this attractive medal bears the image of 'Pegasus' (which is the symbol of the Inner Temple) and the Roman numerals "MCMXIV - MCMXVIII" (1914-1918). The reverse is inscribed, "The Inner Temple to Members of the Inn Who Fought For Their Country - 1914-1918". Diameter : 51.5mm. Nice condition.
The Inns of Court had their own British Army regiment which dated back to 1584. From 1909 and throughout W.W.I., it served as an Officer Training Corps which consisted of men mainly connected with the law courts.
