Quality Silver Plated matchbox Cover - Winter Sports Scenes. c1910

Quality silver plated matchbox cover finely engraved with winter sports scenes. Dating form around 1910.

The front of this cover bears the beautifully detailed engraved image of three gentlemen and two ladies riding a large sled down hill. The spine is decorated with a couple on a sled and the reverse a gentleman ski-jumper. Signed by artist, "Geel". Dimensions : 62mm x 40mm x 22mm. Nice condition.
