Quality Silver Gilt Vintage Car Model - Present to the Earl of Ronaldshay. c.1920

Very nice quality, solid silver, detailed model of a vintage car, made for and presented to the Earl of Ronaldshay, the Governor of Bengal around 1920.
This gilded, solid silver model was beautifully hand made by the jewellers "G.C. Dutt & Sons, Bhowanipore, India" (signed in enamel on fuel tank). The car's grille is adorned with a miniature enamelled Royal crown, it's headlamps are inlaid with moonstones, it's sidelights with diamonds and it's rear lamp, a ruby. It was made with revolving wheels and a detailed interior. This model was presented to the Earl of Ronaldshay while he was serving as Governor of Bengal. Length : 91mm. Weight : approx. 180g. Nice condition.
