Novelty K.L.G. Spark Plug Cufflinks. 1940's

Nice quality cufflinks in the form of a pair of early K.L.G. spark plugs. Most likely dating from the late 1940's or early 1950's.
These gilt brass & porcelain chain link cufflinks were no-doubt made to be given as a corporate gift for the K.L.G. spark plug company. The side of the plug is printed with the inscription, "K.L.G. Mini 2 ". Length of plug : 22mm. Very good condition. Comes with period cuff link box.
The K.L.G. company was started in the early part of the 20th century by the famous British racing driver and land speed record holder, Kenelm Lee Guinness.
