Good quality St Christopher motor car dashboard plaque. Made in France by Tairac and dating from around 1920.

This attractive circular plaque is made from silver plated brass and is decorated in relief with the image of St Christopher surrounded by a milled border. Surrounding the image is the caption, "Regarde St. Christophe - Puis Va-T-En Rassure" (Look at St. Christopher - Then go in Reassurance). The plaque is signed with the maker’s name, “Tairac” and has two lugs which enable it to be fixed to a dashboard. Diameter (not including lugs): 52.5mm. Nice condition.
