2 x French "Portieux" Glass Motor Car Dishes. c.1910 

A pair of unusual motor car dishes made from pressed "milk" glass. Manufacture in France by the "Porteiux" factory around 1910.

These dishes (possibly made for table salt) are made to resemble early Renault cars of 1910 vintage. The bases are marked, "Porteiux". Good condition (one car has a chip on it's mudguard and a small moulding fault on it's wheel). Overall length : 113.5mm.
