"Butlins Car Club" Lapel Badge. 1950's

Very attractive silver plated and enamel lapel badge (pin) made for member's of the "Butlins Car Club". Dating from the 1950's.
This badge bears the image of a girl riding on the back of a dolphin and the inscription , "Butlins Car Club". The background id decorated with red and blue enamel. The reverse is stamped with the maker's mark, "J.R. Gaunt - London". Overall height : 28.5mm. Nice condition.
"Butlins" are a group of famous holiday camps based in Great Britain. They were started in 1936 and are still in existence today.
