Scarce, early Dunlop Tyres lapel badge made for the French market and dating from around 1910.

This very attractive gilt & silver plated pin badge is made from pressed sheet brass. The design incorporates three early spoked wheels with Art Nouveau decoration between, surrounding the caption, "Pneu Dunlop" (Dunlop Tyres) and the cypher, "S.D." ("Societe Dunlop" - Societe Anonyme des Pheumatiques Dunlop - Dunlop Tyres Ltd). Good condition (slight ageing). Width: 27mm.
