Auto Cycle Union - South Midland Centre Motorcycle Badge. 1930s

Scarce, motorcycle badge made for members of the South Midland Centre of the Auto Cycle Union. Dating from the 1920s/30s.

This attractive badge is made from nickel plated brass and is in the form of a winged motorcycle wheel with the A.C.U. insignia in it's centre (decorated in enamel). Currently mounted on a bakelite display base (which can be easily removed if required). Height (not including base) : 60mm, (including base) : 90mm. Good condition (some wear to plating, perfect enamel).
